Mark Whittaker - General Manager at Thomson FM and former IWFM Chair

Mark Whittaker

A founding member of APSAS, Mark is a respected and high profile figure within the facilities management industry. For the last 3 years he has been Chair of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) as well as the General Manager at Thomson FM.

Vanessa Mason - Head of Asset Management at Thomson FM

Vanessa Mason

Vanessa, one of APSAS’ core founding members, has a strong background in asset management, with over 19 years of experience as the Head of Asset Management at Thomson FM, often also providing expert support to operational projects, CAFM and data management consultancy projects.

Matthew Steptoe - Director at TSA Surveying

Matthew Steptoe

One of the founding members of APSAS and a director of TSA Surveying. With over seven years of permanent recruitment experience both in the UK and international markets, Matthew is a recognised voice in the asset surveying and facilities management profession.

Mark Spilling - Director and Owner of Assets55 and AMP Asset Solutions

Mark Spilling

Mark Spilling, a founder of APSAS and the Director of Assets55, is an asset management professional and a Fellow of the IWFM. Mark is also an author of the IWFM Good Practice Guide for ‘Strategic Asset Management Utilising the Value of Lifecycle Asset Information’, and provides creative, innovative solutions and professional advice and excellent project management on a wide range of extensive asset and facilities projects.

Mark Griffiths

Mark is an APSAS Non-Executive Director and is an experienced Director and respected figure within the facilities management sector. As well as possessing over twenty years operational experience, Mark is a previous Chair of Judges for the IWFM Awards and also has prominent roles on several industry advisory bodies.
